Sara Andrade joined Dionne Schulze as a lawyer in June 2019. She has been working on files involving specific claims, environmental assessment and the Crown’s duty to consult First Nations.
Before joining the team, Sara Andrade completed her articles at the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse, during which time she assisted victims of discrimination and appeared before the Human Rights Tribunal. She had previously acquired knowledge of equality rights in a Northern context while interning at the Yukon Human Rights Commission.
During her studies, Sara Andrade clerked at the Tribunal administratif du Québec and interned for environmental law organizations both in Montréal and in Mexico City.
