Rose Victoria Adams holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.) and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from McGill University’s Faculty of Law. She has always been particularly interested in Indigenous law, especially with respect to issues of self-government, economic development, the environment, and child welfare. She was involved with the Indigenous Law Association at McGill University’s Faculty of Law as an executive member from 2017 to 2019. She also interned at the University of Saskatchewan’s Indigenous Law Centre, a research centre in Indigenous law, during the summer of 2018 as part of McGill’s International Human Rights Internship Program. During her studies, she clerked with the Honourable Paul Mayer at the Specific Claims Tribunal from 2019 to 2020.
She articled at a major international law firm before becoming a member of the Quebec Bar.
Rose Victoria Adams is an Inuk from Kuujjuaq, Nunavik.
